How to Prepare a Suitcase for Travel

To leave no empty hole inside the case, to keep it from overflowing and be too heavy to allow a controlled and safe closure (not at risk of bursting for instance) and to keep the clothes in a state presentable, then ironed and clean, there are intelligent methods for preparing the same suitcase.
First prepare a pen and paper and mark all that you need to bring, as it comes to mind, already a few days before preparation: this is because you can buy what you are missing not forget about. After being prepared, barred on the paper everything you are entering gradually into the suitcase.

  • shoes
must be strung in nylon bags or cloth, to prevent dirty, and inserted in the double bottom. If the case is not provided with a double bottom, the shoes should be placed in the pockets or on the base of the case.
  • trousers
are neatly folded (in two or three depending on the capacity of the suitcase), following the natural folds of the same, and placed on the base of the case, with life against the short edge of the suitcase.
  • belts
should be stretched along the perimeter of the suitcase, so as not to occupy valuable space and to form a protective band on the edge of the suitcase itself.
  • shirts
must be buttoned and folded and arranged so as not to overlap the collar, to maintain the shape and avoid crushing them. To do this, you can also enter the socks inside them. They should be placed in the suitcase for the past, if there are no clothes and jackets.
  • underwear
is passed through in transparent plastic bags, in order to be easily found, and placed in the pockets of the suitcase or in the holes left by the other clothes in the suitcase. Divide the various types of bedding in different bags.
  • swimsuits
can be crumpled and easily incorporated into all empty holes of the suitcase: do not crease and help not to distort it.
  • jackets and suits
should be arranged for the last, buttoned, bent, turned upwards, but with the sleeves folded under, possibly already full of hanger.
  • accessories and beauty
in beauty must be placed all the accessories such as cosmetics, perfumes, creams, make-up, needed for hair removal, cleaning, hair; possibly medicines (those that we habitually) and jewelery (jewelery and precious real metal is good to keep them in your hand luggage when traveling by plane). The beauty, if it is not external to the suitcase, it must be placed inside, or in some pocket. Better if the beauty is collapsible, so that it can occupy little space in the suitcase, maybe inserted in some hole left by the clothes, or laterally, or the beauty can be thin and long, so as to be positioned in the suitcase as a layer of clothing.
  • miscellaneous items
books, flashlights, gifts (to take back), and other accessories should be placed at the end, in the spaces and remained free pockets. It would be useful to take with him on every trip (especially if longer than a weekend), an iron and ironing board travel and a travel hairdryer: they are two small appliances, which are found everywhere in mini version to take away (especially in the shop of stations and airports), essential travel, to be always impeccable. Empty envelopes should be placed in the pockets and in the holes, either for storing the dirty laundry in the case where it is not possible to wash it. Always carry a travel umbrella. There are several kits with the bare minimum for emergencies on the road:
  • sewing kit
  • kit for manicures
  • makeup kit
  • first aid kit
  • toiletries kit

Accessories such as travel inflatable pillows and bands to cover his eyes from the light (usually purchased in the shops of suitcases and travel set, i.e. http://www.nonprofitdictionary.com/), should be placed in hand luggage or in the beauty case to the outer case.
